HC Deb 04 December 1975 vol 901 c730W
Mr. Wigley

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if she will set up special clinics where women may be screened for cancer of the breast.

Dr. Owen

As I told the hon. Member for Sevenoaks on 13th October, following receipt of the report of the Joint Workinf Party on Breast Cancer Screening earlier this year, the Department is planning to set up breast cancer screening trials in certain areas to determine the optimum form any service of this kind might take.—[Vol 897, c.615.]
