§ Dr. GilbertThe main authorities in the Channel ports are examining what, if any, improvements in their facilities are required in the light of the Channel Tunnel decision. I am in close touch with the authorities about the ideas they are developing and the Department is assisting them with studies of the growth of traffic that is now anticipated.
