§ Mr. FreesonYes. The Station carries out wide-ranging research into all aspects of polymeric materials in fire, including their interaction with other factors in numerous practical situations. Some of these are on a large scale. It is therefore able to determine the behaviour of these materials under real fire conditions. Such behaviour cannot be predicted from the results of small-scale tests alone.
