HC Deb 02 December 1975 vol 901 cc493-4W
Q28. Mr. Richard Wainwright

asked the Prime Minister if the public speech by the Secretary of State for Industry at the Anglo-American Conference on 30th October on industrial affairs represented Government policy.

Mr. Healey

I have been asked to reply.

I understand that the conference was a private one, although parts of the speech made by my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Industry were issued to the Press. Nothing in the speech was inconsistent with Government policy.
