§ Mr. David Steelasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will list in the Official Report the incidence of indirect taxation on households consisting of (a) single persons (b) married couple (c) married couple with two children (under 11 years) and (d) married couple with four children (two under 11 and two over 11 years) earning (i) three-quarters of average earnings, (ii) average earnings, (iii) twice average earnings and (iv) five times average earnings in 1945, 1950, 1960, 1970 and all subsequent years.
