§ Mr. Roy JenkinsMembers should have the right personal qualities, the interest and the time to make a useful contribution to the work of a board. The aim is to provide every board with members from as wide a range of backgrounds and with as wide a range of qualifications and experience as possible. It is a statutory requirement that at least two members of each board shall be magistrates.
