§ Mr. Geoffrey Finsbergasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether it is the policy of her Department to encourage local authorities to restrict the use by dentists of accommodation which they rent in health centres for the treatment of their private patients.
§ Mr. MeacherResponsibility for health centres passed from local authorities to area health authorities on 1st April 1974. Arrangements for private practice by general dental practitioners in those centres are as described in the reply my hon. Friend gave to the hon. Member on 5th August.
