§ Mr. HattersleyThe present temporary accommodation in Brasilia is to be replaced by a permanent residence for the Ambassador and a permanent chancery with ancillary accommodation in a phased programme.
404WThe residence is being granted priority, and design work is approaching final sketch plan stage. Construction is planned to commence in early 1977 with completion expected by early 1979.
Design work on the new chancery will be started later this year to enable building to commence at the end of 1978 for occupation by early 1981.
