HC Deb 07 August 1975 vol 897 cc521-2W
Mrs. Bain

asked the Secretary of State for Trade if he will list in the Official Report the average number of passengers handled daily so far this year at Heathrow, Gatwick, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Prestwick and Aberdeen airports, respectively; and how this compares, in each case, with previous years.

Mr. Clinton Davis

The number of passengers handled at each of these airports for each of the last 10 years is given in the British Airports Authority annual report and accounts for 1974–75, (Cmnd. 6060). It remains the Government's view that each polytechnic should maintain close relations with those parts of industry and commerce needing the skills and knowledge which it is particularly able to impart, and respond accordingly.
