§ Mr. Harold WalkerBoth the Factory Inspectorate and the Mines and Quarries Inspectorate are now part of the Health and Safety Executive. I am satisfied that full consultation with interested parties would precede any decision to make significant changes in the responsibilities of these inspectorates.
