§ Baroness BIRKThe only casual labour employed by this Department in the Palace of Westminster consists of five men over 65 years old who are employed as cleaners. They are recruited from labour exchanges, and their health background and names and addresses are sent to the Establishments Division of the Department, where the men are security checked.
