§ Mr. Gregor MackenzieThe Government's industrial policies, as set out in the White Paper "The Regeneration of British Industry", will improve the 231W efficiency of British industry by a constructive extension of the Government's rôle in industry in terms of investment and public ownership, and by building a creative dialogue between Government and industry through the medium of planning agreements. These will help to raise the quality of management and improve decision taking by enabling all those who work in industry to play an active part.
