§ Mr. John FraserOn 14th July 1975, the rates of unemployment for Tyne and Wear Metropolitan County, Merseyside Metropolitan County, Clwydds, Gwynedd, Mid-Glamorgan and the Western Isles exceeded the rate for Cornwall. Rates are calculated for groups of travel-to-work areas which, in some cases, differ slightly from the county areas.
