§ Dr. Owen£460,000 is allocated in this financial year for capital expenditure on NHS schemes to improve services for alcoholics. Some of this will be spent on schemes for, or including, a detoxification service. The revenue cost of existing detoxification services in hospitals cannot be identified separately.
