§ Dr. OwenI am aware that in some areas NHS chiropody services are less than adequate and there is need to improve and expand these services as manpower and financial resources permit. We are considering whether further guidance can be issued to health authorities to help them within their available resources to make the best use of their chiropody service both during the current economic difficulties and in the longer term. In this connection, I am asking my officials to get in touch in the first instance with the professional organisations concerned.
