HC Deb 04 August 1975 vol 897 c54W
Mr. Tim Renton

asked the Secretary of State for Trade whether he is satisfied with the current dialogue between producing and consuming countries in working out commodity stabilisation schemes.

Mr. Deakins

Some progress has been made. We have now worked out with our Community partners a common approach on this question, which will form the basis of our participation in forthcoming meetings in wider international fora such as the OECD and the United Nations. There is also a possibility that the producer-consumer dialogue will be resumed.
