Mr. Boardman

asked the Secretary of State for Employment how many people are employed in each of the regions on work in connection with the annual census of employment; and what has been the annual cost of this work for each of the last three years.

The average number of staff expected to be employed on this work in the 1975–76 financial year is:

The annual cost of this work in the financial years ended 1st April 1975, 1st April 1974 and 1st April 1973 was £1.4 million, £1.2 million and £0.9 million, respectively.

asked the Secretary of State for Employment what has been the percentage of ED 90 forms completed and returned in connection with the annual census of employment for each of the last three years.
