HL Deb 30 April 1975 vol 359 cc1331-2WA
Viscount BROOKEBOROUGH

asked Her Majesty's Government:

What steps they propose to take to relieve the burden on old age pensioners caused by hyper-inflation.

Lord WELLS-PESTELL

The Government have undertaken that they will review pensions and other social security benefits as frequently as is necessary. Pensions and other benefits were substantially increased this month, and there is to be a second uprating later this year.

House adjourned at two minutes past seven o'clock.
