§ Mr. John MorrisYes. Applications for improvement grants and intermediate grants in respect of dwellings for a disabled occupant, as defined in the Housing Act 1974 as amended, are subject to the limitation mentioned by the hon. Member. I have it in mind, however, to issue a direction to local authorities to exercise their discretion under Section 56(4) to consider such applications where appropriate, regardless of the age of the dwelling.
