§ Mr. Hurdasked the Secretary of State for Trade at what level the United Kingdom was represented at the 74th meeting of the insurance control services of the EEC on 25th February in Berlin; how the seniority of the United Kingdom 171W representatives compared with those of other countries; and whether he will give an assurance that at future meetings the United Kingdom representatives will be sufficiently senior to take a full part in the proceedings.
§ Mr. Clinton DavisUnited Kingdom representation at any international conference is arranged at the most appropriate level. At the Berlin meeting the United Kingdom delegation was led by the principal concerned who played a full and effective part in the proceedings. Exact comparisons are impossible but other countries' practice seems to be much the same as our own.
