§ Mr. Palmerasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what application he has received from the Avon County Council for financial assistance in the rebuilding of Speedwell School, Bristol, largely destroyed by fire.
§ Mr. PrenticeOn 25th April my Department received advance notification of rebuilding proposals which would necessitate increased capital expenditure authorisation in the current financial year. The proposals will be considered when the county council has finally approved them.
