§ Dr. OwenThirty-two additional ophthalmic beds will be provided when phase I of Selly Oak Hospital, now under construction, is completed, and work is planned to start this year on new operating theatres at the Wolverhampton Eye Infirmary. The health authorities are considering the nature and timing of further improvements, particular replacement of the unsatisfactory facilities at the Birmingham Eye Hospital.
