§ Mr. John FraserAt July 1974 the numbers were 7,454 aged 50 to 59 and 7,730 aged 60 to 64. Owing to industrial action at local offices of the Employment Service Agency the normal half-yearly analysis of the unemployed by age is not available for January 1975.
