§ Mr. Merlyn ReesThe Ministers who represent Her Majesty's Government in the Council have regard for the interests of the whole of the United Kingdom. Government Departments, including the Northern Ireland Departments under my direction, are involved as necessary in the formulation of United Kingdom policy on matters relating to the EEC. The Office of the United Kingdom Permanent Representative in Brussels looks after the interests of Northern Ireland as of any other part of the United Kingdom.
