HC Deb 21 April 1975 vol 890 c239W
Mr. Whitlock

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what sum of money was allocated to the Trent Regional Health Authority in the 1975–76 capital programme; and how much of that sum is for office accommodation at the authority's headquarters.

Dr. Owen

Total capital expenditure in the Trent Region in 1975–76 is estimated to be £35.1 million. None of this has been allocated specifically for office accommodation. The selection of schemes costing less than £350,000 is a matter for the regional health authority. The authority recently started a scheme to alleviate overcrowding in its headquarters which it expects to complete in 1975–76 at a cost in that year of £53,000. It has not yet decided its programme of new starts for 1975–76.
