§ Mr. Onslowasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether, in the light of the public expenditure cuts announced in the Budget Statement, it is still intended that the projected new magistrates' courts and police headquarters in Woking will be built as planned.
§ Mr. Alexander W. LyonThe cuts in public expenditure relating to 1976–77 will involve reductions in future programmes for magistrates' courts and police buildings. We are considering with the Surrey County Council whether it is right in these circumstances for the Woking project to go ahead.
