§ 35. Mr. David Steelasked the Secretary of State for Energy if he will give a general direction to the Gas Corporation to take steps to reduce the differential between large domestic use and small domestic use gas prices in order to favour the smaller gas consumers.
§ Mr. EadieNo. Direction would be inappropriate. I believe that the corporation can be relied upon to reduce the differential as and when circumstances so justify.
