§ Mr. Luardasked the Secretary of State for Defence whether he will publish in the Official Report details of Her Majesty's ships to be paid off following the defence review.
§ Mr. JuddDetailed plans for paying off Her Majesty's Ships will depend on a number of factors, including progress with our new construction programme, the material condition of the ships themselves and manpower considerations. At this stage, however, I can say that the following ships are expected to be paid off in the year 1975–76: HMS "Bulwark", HMS "Hampshire", HMS "Rorqual", HMS "Berry Head", HMS "Keppel".
Ships already approved for disposal during 1974–75 were included in Annex D to the Statement on the Defence Estimates 1975.
