§ Dr. OwenI regret that information in the form requested is not available. The latest relevant validated statistics show that a total of 906 doctors in England and Wales expressed an intention to emigrate from Great Britain on leaving the National Health Service during the year ending 30th September 1974. This figure includes 684 born overseas; 21 of the total were consultants, including nine born overseas. There are, however, forward indications of an increase in the rate of emigration.
