§ Mr. Rymanasked the Attorney-General whether the Lord Chancellor will consider proposing increasing the jurisdiction of county courts in relation to actions for contract and tort.
§ The Attorney-GeneralCounty court jurisdiction in contract and tort was increased from £750 to £1,000 with effect from 1st October 1974. My noble Friend is not proposing to make any further increases in the immediate future, but will keep the position under review.
