§ Mr. Biffenasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what proposals he has to institute a feed price formula for the guaranteed price of pigs; and if he is satisfied that such an arrangement can be undertaken for the national pig herd without authorisation by the European Commission or Council of Ministers.
§ Mr. BishopAs already announced, the United Kingdom system of guaranteed prices for pigs will terminate this year and from 1st August Community support arrangements will apply exclusively in this sector.
