HC Deb 16 April 1975 vol 890 cc127-8W
Mr. Giles Shaw

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if she will make a statement on the future of the Leeds General Infirmary, in view of the Minister of State's recent visit to Leeds.

Dr. Owen

My right hon. Friend made a statement on the health capital building programme in reply to a Question from my hon. Friend the Member for Preston, North (Mr. Atkins) on 15th April.—[Vol. 890, c. 85–8.]

Leeds General Infirmary is not in the list of schemes due to start in 1975–76 but following my visit to Leeds a thorough review of phase 1 of the project has been undertaken by the Yorkshire RHA and I hope to be in a position to make a statement on the future shortly.
