Sir John Gilmourasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what recent consultations he has had with representatives of the inshore fishing fleet in Scotland with regard to the possibility of a reallocation of the support provided by daily subsidy so as to include boats below 40 feet in length.
§ Mr. William RossThis was one of the subjects discussed when my hon. Friend the Under-Secretary of State met representatives of the industry on 2nd April. He undertook to review the matter fairly, but without commitment.
