HC Deb 10 April 1975 vol 889 c478W
Mrs.Winifred Ewing

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what information he has as to the value of fish imports into each of the EEC member States from non-EEC countries in 1975, broken down in each case by country of origin.

Mr. Strang

I have been asked to reply.

Values of imports of fish into EEC countries from countries outside the EEC during 1973, the most recent year for which statistics are available, were as follows:

estimates would be the effect of removal of all United Kingdom farm subsidies and grants and CAP on the retail price index.

Mr. Peart

The effect of such changes would depend on the way in which United Kingdom farmers revised their production plans and on the availability and price of supplies from other sources. In view of the many variable factors it is not possible to estimate accurately the effect on the retail price index.
