What was the establishment and strength, by police forces, of the special constabulary on 1st January 1975.

The strength of the special constabulary in England and Wales on 31st December 1974, by police forces, is given in the Table below. Force establishments are currently under review by the Police Advisory Board Working Party on the Special Constabulary.
