The corresponding unfilled vacancy statistics relate only to vacancies notified to employment offices and are not a measure of total vacancies. The figures do not include the unemployed registered at or vacancies notified to careers offices.
Industrial Arbitration Board for advice under the Equal Pay Act.
§ Mr. John FraserIn accordance with the Secretary of State's powers under 349W Section 10 of the Equal Pay Act I have arranged today for the agreements for the following industries to be referred to the Industrial Arbitration Board for advice on the amendments needing to be made, as mentioned in Section 3 of the Equal Pay Act, so as to remove discrimination between men and women: baking, Scotland; glove manufacture; wool textiles, Scotland.
