§ Mr. Staintonasked the Secretary of State for Trade if, in view of the unemployment of some 530 ALTP pilots, he will review the Hamble sponsored training programme.
§ Mr. Clinton DavisThe training of pilots at the College of Air Training at Hamble is a matter for the governing body of the college to determine in conjunction with British Airways. In reviewing the training programme the college and British Airways will, I am sure, take full account of employment prospects in the industry in the foreseeable future.
