Mr. Wyn Roberts

asked the Secretary of State for Trade if he will publish figures showing the breakdown of the United Kingdom's 1974 trade deficit with the EEC of £2,075 million—annual rate —by sector, and publish comparable 1973 figures for each sector.

Mr. Deakins

The "crude" trade deficit with the original six members of the EEC in the first 10 months of this year has been revised to £2,084 million —at an annual rate—to take account of later information. The figures requested are as follows:
