§ Mr. Lawrenceasked the Secretary of State for the Enivronment (1) what has been the wages cost in each of the past three years to the Staffordshire County Council and the East Staffordshire District Council respectively;
(2)what has been the total increase or decrease in the number of local government employees over each of the past three years of the Staffordshire County Council and the East Staffordshire District Council, respectively;
(3)what has been the annual local government expenditure in the area now covered by the East Staffordshire district over each of the past seven years; and what has been the county precept in each of those years, and the Severn-Trent Water Authority precept since its inception.
