HC Deb 27 November 1974 vol 882 c191W
Mr. D. E. Thomas

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) what is the current expenditure per capita of all teaching area health authorities in England; what is the national average for England and the average for Great Britain; and if she will express the expenditure figure for each area as a percentage of the average for England and the average for Great Britain:

(2) what is the current expenditure per capita of all non-teaching area health authorities in England, the national average for England, and the average for Great Britain; and if she will express each area expenditure figure as a percentage of the average for England and the average for Great Britain.

Dr. Owen

I regret the information is not available. The allocations made to areas are being revised to include additional funds recently made available and it is not possible to express these allocations in terms of expenditure per capita since information on the numbers of people served by area health authorities is not available.
