Mr. Wigley

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what were the numbers of non-industrial Civil Service posts in Wales in the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food in January 1969 and January 1974, respectively; and if he will make a statement.

In January 1969 there were 1,314 non-industrial Civil Service posts in Wales in the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and in January 1974, 1,236.

The number of posts is kept under constant review in relation to work needs.
