HC Deb 26 November 1974 vol 882 cc115-6W
Mrs. Dunwoody

asked the Prime Minister whether he is satisfied with interdepartmental co-ordination in the provision of finance for film making for cinema and television in furtherance of the policy

concerted pressure on the Uganda authorities to stop the continued mass murder of political and civil opponents of President Amin; and, in the event of the failure of the Uganda Government to respond to these appeals, if he will raise the motion for the expulsion of Uganda from the Commonwealth at the next meeting of Commonwealth Prime Ministers.

The Prime Minister

No. I am not aware of any reliable reports of mass murder in Uganda in recent months.
