HC Deb 26 November 1974 vol 882 c94W
23. Mr. Mather

asked the Secretary of State for Defence what measures he now envisages for the security of the Cape route.

Mr. Judd

As my right hon. Friend said on 4th November—[Vol. 880, c. 684.] —we are reviewing the naval arrangements arising from the Simonstown Agreement, taking into account both its military value and also wider British interests throughout Africa. The House will be informed when the review is completed.
