§ Mr. Spearingasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if she will initiate a comparative study of the health services available to each unit of population— e.g. of each 10 or 1,000,000 persons—in each of the areas of regional and area health authorities in England and Wales.
§ Dr. OwenA comparative study of the health services in each area and regional health authority will emerge as part of the planning system for the reorganiseed National Health Service. I expect to be giving guidance to health authorities very shortly on their planning task for 1975–76.
