§ Mr. Teddy Taylorasked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will make a further statement on the work of the Conciliation and Arbitration Service.
§ Mr. BoothMy right hon. Friend is very satisfied with the way in which the work of the Conciliation and Arbitration Service is developing. The Chairman of the CAS has said that the number of requests for conciliation is increasing, and this confirms the value of having a body operating in this field which is independent of Government.
