§ Mr. Roseasked the Secretary of State for Industry (1) whether he will ensure that the licence to build engines or frames for the HS146 will not be given to any overseas country pending the nationalisation of the aerospace industry;
(2) if he will take steps to ensure that the facilities and plant for manufacturing new aerospace projects, not so far manufactured under licence abroad, will remain in Great Britain pending the nationalisation of the aerospace industry.
§ Mr. MeacherUnder the contract between the Government and Hawker Siddeley Aviation on the HS146 the company needs the consent of the Government before disposing of jigs and tools, issuing licences, and so on, in connection with the project.
