§ Mr. VarleyAs a result of the OPEC decisions in September, the average host Government take on Marker Crude—equivalent to Saudi Arabian Light—was increased to $9.69 per barrel. The Press release after the conference noted, however, that this increase would not be implemented by Saudi Arabia. The average price of Saudi Arabian Light was increased to about $10.25 as a result504W of a meeting of certain producers in Abu Dhabi on 9th and 10th November. This was the change which Saudi Arabia had been expected to propose to OPEC in December.
