§ Mr. KaufmanSubsidies to local authorities for years before 1972–73 cannot be separated from those to new towns to new towns and housing associations. Gross housing subsidies to all such bodies in England and Wales, inclusive of central Government contributions to rent rebates and allowances and to improvements, were as follows:
