§ Mr. Geoffrey Finsbergasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he is making any arrangements to recompense housing associations for their extra loss of income caused by the extension of the residential rent freeze to 31st March 1975.
§ Mr. FreesonRegistered housing associations will be able to apply for revenue deficit grant, under the provisions of Section 32 of the Housing Act 1974, in respect of accounting years ending on or after 1st January 1974. In addition, the order extending the standstill for private sector residential rents makes provision for rents to be increased to cover the rise in fuel costs incurred in providing service.
