HC Deb 21 November 1974 vol 881 c474W
Mr. Biggs-Davison

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what is the quota of entry certificates allotted to United Kingdom passport holders in East Africa; and over what period, and in what numbers, he estimates they will be taken up.

Mr. Alexander W. Lyon

The quota of special vouchers for United Kingdom passports holders remains at 3,500 a year —for heads of households. Those in East Africa are eligible for vouchers according to need. Admissions to this country are broadly consistent with this scale of issue.
